2019 Scrubs (Home Football Games): The Marching Band wears white scrub pants during pregame and in the stands to protect our white uniform pants. The scrubs need to be washed after every performance. The committee chair will coordinate volunteers to take home one tub of scrubs (typically one load of laundry) to wash after a football game, and have them folded and back to the band room by the following Tuesday evening rehearsal. The committee will also monitor inventory, and damage to the scrubs. https://www.signupgenius.com/
2019 Water Committee (Home Football Games): The water committee works together to make sure our students are well hydrated during their performances - football half times, parades, and festivals. On performance days, two setup volunteers will bring ice to the school (two bags each), load the bottles of water into the coolers provided on-site by the band, and deliver the coolers to the field (for home games) or the school buses (for festivals). After the games or festivals, 2 cleanup volunteers will return the coolers to the school, empty and wipe them out, and return unused water bottles to the school https://www.signupgenius.com/
Food For the Road (for Marching festivals): This committee needs volunteers for our competition days (October 5th, and 19th). Reser's Fine Foods and Runza have donated the main courses so we will need your help with all the extras plus volunteers to assist set-up/serving/clean-up at the competition site. The more the merrier...the students are always happy to see the tables full of food with band parents helping to serve! Please drop off items at Struve's House: 321 Settlers Dr, Lawrence by Thursday, Oct 3rd. They will have a cooler outside on the porch if they are not home to receive the food. If it doesn't need refridgeration you can also drop it off at the band room. https://www.signupgenius.com/
