FREE STATE IS HOSTING THE STATE 3A, 5A AND 6A CROSS COUNTY MEET THIS FRIDAY, OCTOBER 31ST.  BELOW ARE DIRECTIONS TO RIMROCK FARM.

DIRECTIONS TO RIM ROCK FARM:~ From north Lawrence,  continuel north on Kansas Highway 24/59 (which curves to the west) for approximately 2.5 miles before turning right (north) on the asphalt road at the Midland Store. Approximately 2.5 miles later, watch for an abandoned natural gas station on the right and make a left turn (west) at that point onto a gravel road. About .25 miles ahead, make a right turn and follow the gravel road approximately 1.33 miles (north) to the course.

Winter Sports tryouts/practices begin Monday, November 17th. ~Those sports include Boys' & Girls' Basketball, Boys' Swimming & Diving and Wrestling. ~
Boys' & Girls' Bowling tryouts will be December 1-4 from 3:30 - 5:00 pm at Royal Crest Lanes. ~

Be sure to get all five of your forms turned in to the Athletic Office no later that Friday, November 14th.
~

ATTENTION - Anyone interested in participating on the Boys' Swim/Dive team - there will be a meeting on Wednesday, October 15th at 2:45-3:15 in room 205.

ATTENTION - Anyone interested in trying out for the Girls' Basketball team - there will be a meeting on Thursday, October 16th at 2:00 pm in room 252.

FOR THE 2014-2015 SCHOOL YEAR

All five of the forms below need to be turned in to the Athletic Office
before a student can tryout or participate.   
ALL OF THESE FORMS ARE AVAILABLE BELOW TO DOWNLOAD OR YOU
CAN STOP BY THE OFFICE AND PICK THEM UP.

1.  Physical dated after May 1, 2014 will be good the entire 2014-15 school year
2.  Notarized Insurance form dated after May 1, 2014
3.  Code of Conduct
4.  Tryout/Participation form
5.   KSHAA Concussion & Head Injury Form


Academic Eligibility
A student must have passed 5 courses in the previous semester.
A student must be enrolled in 5 courses during the semester of participation.
Summer school courses may not be used to acquire credits for eligibility.

Activity Fees
        Each student-athlete must purchase a $25 activity ticket and a $50 participation
        is required for each sport. (These fees are subject to change pending budget constraints.)

Ticket prices  (Sunflower League policy )
Adults - $7.00
Students - $5.00

We will also offer Season Passes (both single and family) for the following sports:
